NERVE A Little Bit Racey began life on Nerve Radio, Bournemouth University’s student radio station, where I joined the production team before soon becoming the regular host and a co-writer on the show. From there, we went from strength to strength, with the show winning the Nerve Award for “Best Specialist”, judged by producers from the BBC. HOPE FM Once graduation was on the horizon, the show found a new home on 90.1 Hope FM, a community station in Bournemouth, as part of Livewire Live – a 2 hour comedy show. Panellists included old Nerve favourites, as well as the various members of Livewire Live and their associates. CORNUCOPIA After a full year on Hope.FM, the show found its way to Cornucopia Radio, an audio production company based in Sheffield. This move allowed us to release the episodes as podcasts, and produce numerous focused multi-episode series of a much higher standard, along with themed specials in between. Equally, it afforded us further opportunities to bring in new comedic talent from Edinburgh Fringe and local improv groups, on top of our classic panellist roster. The episodes have also been broadcast on live radio, as part of Cornucopia’s regular shows on Sheffield Live and basic.FM, as well as a mixture of classic and brand new Racey through Upload Radio in 2017. A Little Bit Racey was one of three nominees for Best Comedy at the UK Podcasters Awards in 2015, and was a finalist nominee for Best UK Podcast at the awards in 2016. The fourth series, recorded and released across 2017, also marked the first ever live show on February 8th, hosted at DINA venue, supported by improv groups, The Shrimps, Faffing About and The Antics - the event was well received and can be listened to through the link on the right, alongside all of the other episodes. |

They begin from different starting points and use an assortment of companions, objects and modes of transport, but they must keep everything together with them when they travel. They must also overcome their opponent, provided by another panelist, who will fire off obstacles to try and stop them.
